The Dolphins
House Panic

Up next on Hooj, funked up punked up house sounds straight outta Italy from The Dolphins.

Licensed from bastion of quality, Guidance in Chicago, ‘House Panic’ brings together irresistible low-riding bass guitars, swing-filled drums and a really rather catchy vocal which comes backed up with a whole host of diverse remixes in true Hooj style.

Backing up the Original mix on disc 1 comes the first of two interpretations by Hooj favourite, Basics resident and all round nice guy Paul Woolford who gets on the case in an acid house stylee while deep house mainstays Inland Knights finish the disc off with one of their trademark cool rerubs. Disc 2 brings Wooly’s second mix to the fore while a twisted up reinterpretation from rockin’ Dutch label Klaxon’s top boy, Dexter and The Dolphins’ own ‘This is Radio Dolphins Dub’ version round off the package nicely.

‘House Panic’ has been a firm favourite with Playgroup's Trevor Jackson for a while now and with Paul Woolford's new mixes currently whetting the appetite of Radio 1’s Lottie, more reactions and radio plays are sure to follow...

Guitars, solid house sounds and acid craziness collide...
